About MMUST
Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) — public non-profit university. It is located in Kakamega, Kenya. It is a young higher education institution, as it was opened in 2007. MMUST is working closely with Inter University Council of East Africa (IUCEA), Association of African Universities (AAU), African Institute of Capacity Development (AICAD), Association of National Science and Technology Institutions (ANSTI), World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations (WAITRO), Institute of Directors Kenya, Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), International Association of University President (IAUP), African Council for Distance Learning (ACDE).
MMUST carries out research in several scientific areas.
At MMUST, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. For local citizens, tuition fees at MMUST start from 19 USD. The campus of the educational institution is located in Kakamega. This opens up all the delights of life in a big city for students: a rich infrastructure, a large selection of entertainment, convenient transport, as well as more opportunities for internships or part-time jobs.
