University of al-Jazirah (UofG) — public non-profit university. It is located in Wad Medani, Sudan. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1975 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. UofG is working closely with Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW).
