About ITCR
Costa Rica Institute of Technology (ITCR) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Cartago, Costa Rica. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1971 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. ITCR is a part of Consejo Nacional de Rectores (CONARE).

The city campus of ITCR provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. Cartago has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students. There is a library on the grounds of the university.
