About THI

Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Ingolstadt, Germany. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1994 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As a member of European University Association (EUA), THI is actively working on developing the academic environment.

THI is developing different scientific directions and invites students to join the research.

THI tuition fees

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at THI is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Education at THI is free for everyone. However, students must pay a semester fee — 1,000 USD per year. The cost of education and the availability of scholarships can be checked on the official website.

When choosing an educational institution, it is important to be aware of additional costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.

Bachelor degree at THI

Schooling in Germany lasts longer than in other countries. Therefore, it is impossible to enter a university immediately after the 11th grade — first, you need to eliminate the academic difference. There are special educational institutions for foreign students — Studienkollegs.

THI campus

THI has an urban campus, which provides students with many options for study and recreation. The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. The school has a library where students can do their homework or just relax. THI accepts students for international exchange programs. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in intercultural communication for both international and local students.
