About UFMT
Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) — public non-profit university. It is located in Cuiaba, Brazil. The higher education institution is considered one of the youngest in the country, as it was founded in 1970. UFMT is working closely with Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Brasileiras (CRUB), Rede Nacional de Extensão (RENEX), Grupo Coimbra das Universidades Brasileiras (GCUB), Associação das Universidades de Língua Portuguesa (AULP), Fórum de Assessoria das Universidades Brasileiras para Assuntos Internacionais (FAUBAI), Grupo Tordesilhas (GT), Associação das Universidades da Amazônia (UNAMAZ), PEC-G, Alfa III.

The campus of UFMT is located in Cuiaba. This is a fairly large city that opens up many opportunities for students: from cafes, restaurants and other entertainment to internships at large companies.
