About UiO
University of Oslo (UiO) — public non-profit university. It is located in Oslo, Norway. UiO is working together with European University Association (EUA).

At UiO, you can get a master degree in different fields of study.
The academic calendar at UiO is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Norway. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. At UiO, education is free for everyone, both in Norwegian and English. But for admission to such programs, you should know the language at least at a B2 level. Students should only pay a semester fee — 94 USD per year. It is necessary to pay attention to other costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, food, and personal expenses.
You cannot enter university in Norway after the 11th grade, as school education here lasts longer. Applicants need to eliminate the academic difference. There are two ways to do this: either study for a year at a university in your home country, or complete one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.).
Master's degree at UiO
When considering candidates for master's programs, the admission committee of the university pays attention to the student's academic performance during the undergraduate program. It is impossible to enter UiO for a master's program without confirming knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score for admission is 83. UiO campus
The campus of UiO is located in Oslo. This is a fairly large city that opens up many opportunities for students: from cafes, restaurants and other entertainment to internships at large companies. But an urban campus can also be a disadvantage, because big city life distracts some students from their studies. The university has a library, in the collection of which you will find not only textbooks and scientific works, but also works of the classics, modern literature and much more. The exchange of intercultural experience occupies a special place in training at UiO. The educational institution regularly invites foreign students to participate in exchange programs and organizes various joint events.
