About UPR

University of Pinar del Río Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca (UPR) — public non-profit university. It is located in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. It is a young higher education institution, as it was opened in 1972. As a member of Red Latinoamericana de Cooperativismo (RELCOOP ), International United of Forestry Research Organizations (IUFRO), Group of Ibero-American Universities La Rábida, Latin American Forum of Environmental Sciences (FLACAM), Latin American Net of Sciences of the Earth, Latin American Council of Management Schools (CLADEA), UPR is actively working on developing the academic environment.
