Mariano Galvez University of Guatemala (UMG) — private non-profit university. It is located in Guatemala City, Guatemala. It is one of the youngest higher education institutions in the country.
UMG carries out research in several scientific areas.

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at UMG is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at UMG will cost local citizens a minimum of 648 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 5,000 USD per year. The cost of education and the availability of scholarships can be checked on the official website.
Also, be prepared for additional expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.
The campus of UMG is urban. This means that students study closely to the sights and the entire recreational infrastructure of the city. This type of campus gives students more options for internships and part-time jobs. The educational institution has its own library. Here, students do their homework or just have a good time reading an interesting book.
