Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași (TUIAŞI) — public non-profit university. It is located in Iasi, Romania. As a part of European University Association (EUA), Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN), Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), CONFRECO, European Continuing Education Network (EUCEN), TUIAŞI is actively building the academic environment in Romania.
It is one of the best institutions in the world. In QS World University Rankings 2025, it is among top-1200. The educational institution is in 1501 position of Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE).
TUIAŞI conducts various scientific activities and is inviting students to join the research.

The academic calendar at TUIAŞI is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Romania. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at TUIAŞI will cost local citizens a minimum of 305 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 2,746 USD per year. The educational institution helps with tuition fees through financial support programs. They are available to local and international students. On the official website of the university, you can find all the up-to-date information on tuition fees and available scholarships.
In addition to the cost of education, it is necessary to pay attention to additional costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.
TUIAŞI has an urban campus, which provides students with many options for study and recreation. The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. There is a library on the grounds of the university. There are collected scientific works of graduates and teachers of the university, as well as fiction. Thanks to international exchange programs at TUIAŞI, students can communicate with representatives of different countries and nationalities and thus expand their own horizons. And, the university contributes to this by regularly holding joint events for local and foreign students.
