University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) — private non-profit university. It is located in Sao Leopoldo, Brazil. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1969 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. UNISINOS is a member of International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Brasileiras (CRUB).
UNISINOS does research in different fields of study. You can find them on the official site.

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at UNISINOS is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and scholarships.
It is necessary to pay attention to other costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, food, and personal expenses.
For admission to UNISINOS, applicants must pass entrance exams.

The campus of UNISINOS is located in Sao Leopoldo. This is a fairly large city that opens up many opportunities for students: from cafes, restaurants and other entertainment to internships at large companies. But an urban campus can also be a disadvantage, because big city life distracts some students from their studies. The university has a library where students can do their homework, write scientific papers or just read interesting books. UNISINOS accepts students for international exchange programs. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in intercultural communication for both international and local students.
There are many options to stay in the country after completing your studies at the university. One of them is to get an offer from an employer and apply for a work visa. Detailed information can be found on the embassy website. Look for more immigration options in our article.
