Matej Bel University (UMB) — public non-profit university. It is located in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1992. UMB is working together with European University Association (EUA).

The academic calendar at UMB is divided into two semesters. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year.
