State University of Pará UEPA (UEPA) — public non-profit university. It is located in Belem, Brazil. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1993 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As an active member of Associação Brasileira dos Reitores das Universidades Estaduais e Municipais (ABRUEM), Rede Nacional de Extensão (RENEX), UEPA is participating in developing the academic environment.
UEPA conducts scientific activity in several areas. More information can be found on the official site.

The academic calendar at UEPA is divided into two semesters. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees at UEPA are different for locals and foreigners. Brazil citizens pay 170 USD per year, while international students pay a minimum of 1,000 USD. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and available scholarships.
Also, consider other expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals, and personal expenses.
For admission to a bachelor's program, you must successfully pass the entrance exams.

UEPA has an urban campus, which provides students with many options for study and recreation. The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. The university has a functioning library. In addition to educational materials in various scientific areas, it contains a collection of classical and contemporary literature.
If you want to stay in Brazil after graduation, one of your options is to apply for a work visa. To do this, you need to get an offer from an employer. You can find other options for immigration in our article.
