Application process and the cost of tuition. The main criterion for admission is examination results. UEPA accepts the majority of applicants. There are about 90 seats available per 100 applicants. Traditionally the academic year is divided into semesters like in many other universities of Brazil. Studying bachelor’s at UEPA is relatively inexpensive - only 1,000 USD per year. In order to obtain a master’s degree the student must spend about 1,000 USD per year. A wide range of online courses is available for the students of UEPA. The composition of the university. Universidade do Estado do Pará UEPA is medium in scale, teaching no more than 20 thousand students at a time. Both citizens and foreigners are able to apply.
