About UVA

State University of the Valley of the Acarau (UVA) — public non-profit university. It is located in Sobral, Brazil. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1968 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As an active member of Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Brasileiras (CRUB), Rede Nacional de Extensão (RENEX), Associação Brasileira dos Reitores das Universidades Estaduais e Municipais (ABRUEM), UVA is participating in developing the academic environment.
