State University of the Valley of the Acarau (UVA) — public non-profit university. It is located in Sobral, Brazil. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1968 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As an active member of Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Brasileiras (CRUB), Rede Nacional de Extensão (RENEX), Associação Brasileira dos Reitores das Universidades Estaduais e Municipais (ABRUEM), UVA is participating in developing the academic environment.
UVA works in several scientific areas and is waiting for new students.

One year of studying at UVA will cost local citizens a minimum of 170 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 1,000 USD per year. On the official website of the university, you can find all the up-to-date information on tuition fees and available scholarships.
It is necessary to pay attention to other costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, food, and personal expenses.
For admission to UVA, applicants must pass entrance exams.

The university campus is located in Sobral. The university has a library where students can do their homework, write scientific papers or just read interesting books.
