About UMY
Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta (UMY) — private non-profit institution. It is located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The higher education institution is considered one of the youngest in the country, as it was founded in 1981. As a part of Association of Indonesian Private University (APTISI), Association of Muhammadiyah Higher Educations, UMY is actively building the academic environment in Indonesia.

The academic calendar at UMY is divided into two semesters. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. The tuition fee at UMY for foreigners depends on the program. The campus of the educational institution is suburban.
