North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybaev (NKU) — public non-profit university. It is located in Kazakhstan. NKU is a member of International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), Central Asian Foundation for Management Development, The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE).
NKU is developing different scientific directions and invites students to join the research.

At NKU, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at NKU will cost local citizens a minimum of 5 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 2,500 USD per year. Thanks to financial support programs, students have the opportunity to fully or partially cover the cost of education. The exact cost of programs and information on the availability of scholarships can be found on the website of the university.
When choosing an educational institution, it is important to be aware of additional costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.
Enrollment in a bachelor's program at NKU is based on the results of entrance exams.

The campus of NKU is urban. This means that students study closely to the sights and the entire recreational infrastructure of the city. This type of campus gives students more options for internships and part-time jobs. University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. Student life at NKU is filled with intercultural activities, as not only local students study here, but also students from abroad. The exchange of knowledge and experience, networking and new acquaintances — all this is an integral part of studenthood.
