Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) — public non-profit university. It is located in Gaza, Palestine. The higher education institution is among the youngest in the country. As a part of Community of Mediterranean Universities, Association of Arab Universities, Federation of the Universities of the Islamic world, Anna-Linda Euro-Mediterranean foundation, EMUNI, Eurasian Universities Union, Réseau Méditerranéen des Ecoles d'Ingénieurs (RMEI), IUG is actively building the academic environment in Palestine.
IUG conducts research in many fields of study. For more information, visit the official site.

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at IUG is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. For residents of Palestine, tuition fees at IUG start from 3,526 USD. The exact cost of programs and information on the availability of scholarships can be found on the website of the university.
It is necessary to pay attention to other costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, food, and personal expenses.
The campus of the educational institution is located in Gaza. This opens up all the delights of life in a big city for students: a rich infrastructure, a large selection of entertainment, convenient transport, as well as more opportunities for internships or part-time jobs. However, for some students, such an abundance of opportunities can be distracting. The university has a library, in the collection of which you will find not only textbooks and scientific works, but also works of the classics, modern literature and much more. IUG regularly accepts students for international exchange programs, providing both local and international students with the opportunity to come into contact with different cultures and gain unique experience.

There are several options to stay in the country after graduation. One of them is to get an offer from an employer and apply for a work visa. Read more about this on the embassy website. We talk about other options for immigration in our article.
