University of Guelma - 8 May 1945 (UGUELMA) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Guelma, Algeria. The higher education institution is among the youngest in the country. UGUELMA is working together with Agence Universitaire de la francophonie, Réseau des universités euroméditerranéennes (Tethys), Réseau CEMUR (coopération europe-maghrteb des universités en réseau), e-Omed (espace numérique ouvert pour la méditerranée).
UGUELMA carries out research in several scientific areas.

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at UGUELMA is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. For local citizens, tuition fees at UGUELMA start from 8 USD. International students pay a minimum of 1,000 USD per year. Thanks to financial support programs, students have the opportunity to fully or partially cover the cost of education.
