University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV) — public non-profit university. It is located in Praia, Cape Verde. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 2006. Uni-CV is an active member of Associação das Universidades de Língua Portuguesa (AULP).
Uni-CV carries out research in several scientific areas.

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at Uni-CV is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year.
