Simad University (SU) - private nonprofit higher education institution in Somalia. SUstarted accepting students in 1999. Simad University has an urban campus in Mogadishu. Simad University proudly stands at the top of the national ranking of Somalia.

Application process and the cost of tuition. The admission process is based on the certificate of previous education provided by the applicant and academic performance. More than a half (70%) of the applicants manage to secure their spot at SU, however, the percentage may change depending on the faculty and the popularity of the course. Simad University divides its academic year into semesters. SU has affordable bachelor’s programs that cost less than 1,000 USD/year. When applying for master’s programs at SU a student should take into account that a year of studies will cost him/her around 1,000 USD.
