About NU

Nkumba University (NU) — private non-profit university. It is located in Entebbe, Uganda. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1994 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country.

NU is developing different scientific directions and invites students to join the research.

NU tuition fees

The academic calendar at NU is divided into quarters. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees at NU are different for locals and foreigners. Uganda citizens pay 1 USD per year, while international students pay a minimum of 5,000 USD. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and scholarships.

When choosing an educational institution, it is important to be aware of additional costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.

NU campus

The campus of the educational institution is suburban. The advantages of such a location include the ability to quickly get to the city, access to various types of recreation (in nature and in the city) and a close-knit student community. University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. Foreigners who come to NU through exchange programs study and live with local students. Thus, the university promotes intercultural exchange and the establishment of interethnic relations.
