Busoga University (BU) — private non-profit university. It is located in Iganga, Uganda. It is one of the youngest higher education institutions in the country. As an active member of Inter University Council for East Africa, Uganda Vice-Chancellors Forum, Christian Universities Vice Chancellors Forum, BU is participating in developing the academic environment.

The academic calendar at BU is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Uganda. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at BU will cost local citizens a minimum of 1 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 1,000 USD per year.
