Kabale University (KAB) — private non-profit university. It is located in Kabale, Uganda. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 2001. As an active member of The Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA), Association des Professeurs de Français en Ouganda (APFO), Association universitaire Francophones (AUF), KAB is participating in developing the academic environment.
KAB is developing different scientific directions and invites students to join the research.

The academic calendar at KAB is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Uganda. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. For foreigners, the tuition fee at KAB starts from 1,000 USD per year. The university has several financial aid programs that help students cover part of the cost of education. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and available scholarships.
When choosing an educational institution, it is necessary to take into account additional costs: accommodation, transportation, educational materials, meals and personal expenses.
The educational institution has a suburban campus. This means that students study close to a big city and can quickly get to it by public transport. At the same time, this location allows you to create a close-knit student community, since all events are held on campus. University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. Not only locals study at KAB, but also students from other countries. This is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the culture of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.

If you want to stay in Uganda after graduation, one of your options is to apply for a work visa. To do this, you need to get an offer from an employer. We talk about other options for immigration in our article.
