Copperbelt University (CBU) — public for-profit university. It is located in Kitwe, Zambia. It is a modern higher education institution, established in 1987. As an active member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of African Universities (AAU), Sothern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA), African Council for Distance Education, CBU is participating in developing the academic environment.
