National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe (NUST) — public non-profit university. It is located in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The higher education institution is among the youngest in the country. As a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of African Universities (AAU), Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA), NUST is actively working on developing the academic environment.
NUST carries out research in several scientific areas.

At NUST, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees here are different for locals and foreigners. For locals, it starts from 16 USD, and for foreigners — a minimum of 7,500 USD. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and available scholarships.
When choosing an educational institution, it is important to be aware of additional costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.
The campus of the educational institution is suburban. It combines the features of a rural and urban campus. Students live separately from the city and create a close-knit community. At the same time, they are not very far from the city and have access not only to urban entertainment, such as cinemas and restaurants, but also to outdoor activities. During the period of study, students can use the university library, where they can do homework and write scientific papers. Foreigners who come to NUST through exchange programs study and live with local students. Thus, the university promotes intercultural exchange and the establishment of interethnic relations.

There are several options to stay in the country after graduation. One of them is to get an offer from an employer and apply for a work visa. Read more about this on the embassy website. Look for more immigration options in our article.
