The academic calendar at PUJ is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Colombia. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at PUJ will cost local citizens a minimum of 1 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 7,000 USD per year. The university has several financial aid programs that help students cover part of the cost of education. The cost of education and the availability of scholarships can be checked on the official website.
Also, be prepared for additional expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.
PUJ campus
The campus of PUJ is urban. This means that students study closely to the sights and the entire recreational infrastructure of the city. This type of campus gives students more options for internships and part-time jobs. The school has a library where students can do their homework or just relax. Not only locals study at PUJ, but also students from other countries. This is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the culture of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.
