Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) — private non-profit university. It is located in Puebla, Mexico. It is a modern higher education institution, established in 1973. UPAEP is working together with International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior (ANUIES).

At UPAEP, the academic calendar is arranged according to the 4-1-4 model. It includes two long semesters and a short one in between. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees at UPAEP are different for locals and foreigners. Mexico citizens pay 50 USD per year, while international students pay a minimum of 236 USD.
