About ITG

Technological Institute of Guaymas (ITG) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Heroica Guaymas, Mexico. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1984 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As a member of Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior (ANUIES), Programa de Mejoramiento del Profesorado (PROMEP), ITG is actively working on developing the academic environment.

ITG is developing different scientific directions and invites students to join the research.

ITG tuition fees

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at ITG is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. At ITG, tuition fees start from 54 USD for Mexico citizens. The educational institution helps with tuition fees through financial support programs. They are available to local and international students. The cost of education and the availability of scholarships can be checked on the official website.

When choosing an educational institution, it is important to be aware of additional costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.

ITG campus

The campus of the educational institution is located in Heroica Guaymas. This opens up all the delights of life in a big city for students: a rich infrastructure, a large selection of entertainment, convenient transport, as well as more opportunities for internships or part-time jobs. However, for some students, such an abundance of opportunities can be distracting. The university has a library where students can do their homework, write scientific papers or just read interesting books. The exchange of intercultural experience occupies a special place in training at ITG. The educational institution regularly invites foreign students to participate in exchange programs and organizes various joint events.
