About UNYT
University of New York Tirana (UNYT) — private for-profit university. It is located in Tirana, Albania. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 2002 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As a member of The Conference of Albania's University Rectors, UNYT is actively working on developing the academic environment.
UNYT does research in different fields of study and offers bachelor and master programs.
The academic calendar at UNYT is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Albania. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. At UNYT, tuition fees are equal for everyone — from 3,862 USD per year. The university has several financial aid programs that help students cover part of the cost of education. The campus of UNYT is urban. This means that students study closely to the sights and the entire recreational infrastructure of the city.
