University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour (UPPA) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Pau, France. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1972 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. UPPA is a member of European University Association (EUA).
UPPA conducts various scientific activities and is inviting students to join the research.

At UPPA, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. Students of UPPA pay from 1,000 USD per year for French programs (B2 level). English programs are about twice as expensive. On the official website of the university, you will find all the relevant information about tuition fees and scholarships.
It is necessary to pay attention to other costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, food, and personal expenses.
The educational institution has a suburban campus. This means that students study close to a big city and can quickly get to it by public transport. At the same time, this location allows you to create a close-knit student community, since all events are held on campus. University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. Student life at UPPA is filled with intercultural activities, as not only local students study here, but also students from abroad. The exchange of knowledge and experience, networking and new acquaintances — all this is an integral part of studenthood.

It is possible to stay in France for an additional 18 months after graduation. To do this, you need to apply for a graduate visa, which allows you to work without providing an offer from an employer. Look for more immigration options in our article.
