About ISU
Ilia State University (ISU) — public non-profit university. It is located in Tbilisi, Georgia. It is a young higher education institution, as it was opened in 2006. As an active member of European University Association (EUA), European Cooperation in the Field of Science and Technology (COST), International Association of Universities (IAU), Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN), European Network of Occupational Therapy (ENOTHE), Francophone Universities Agency (AUF), Association “, Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch”, (ÖSD), Rondine Cittadella della Pace”, ISU is participating in developing the academic environment.
The educational institution is in the top-1200 of Times Higher Education World University Ranking.
ISU does research in different fields of study and offers bachelor and master programs.
At ISU, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. For local citizens, tuition fees at ISU start from 3,499 USD. International students pay a minimum of 2,999 USD per year. The university provides tuition assistance to some students through financial aid programs. Master's degree at ISU
The admission committee of the university takes into account the previous academic performance of the student. It is impossible to enter ISU for a master's program without confirming knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score for admission is 5.5. ISU campus
The campus of ISU is located in Tbilisi. This is a fairly large city that opens up many opportunities for students: from cafes, restaurants and other entertainment to internships at large companies. But an urban campus can also be a disadvantage, because big city life distracts some students from their studies. The university has a functioning library. In addition to educational materials in various scientific areas, it contains a collection of classical and contemporary literature. ISU accepts students for international exchange programs.
