About LU
University of Latvia (LU) — public for-profit university. It is located in Riga, Latvia. LU is working closely with European University Association (EUA), Utrecht Network.
QS World University Rankings collects data on the best institutions in the world, according to which LU is on top-800. The educational institution is in 1001 position of Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE).
LU offers bachelor and master programs in different fields of study.
The academic calendar at LU is divided into two semesters. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at LU will cost local citizens a minimum of 2,254 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 2,597 USD per year. The university has several financial aid programs that help students cover part of the cost of education. The campus of the educational institution is located in Riga.
