About ASEM
Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Chisinau, Moldova. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1991 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As an active member of European University Association (EUA), ASEM is participating in developing the academic environment.
ASEM conducts various scientific activities and is inviting students to join the research.
The academic calendar at ASEM is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Moldova. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees at ASEM are different for locals and foreigners. Moldova citizens pay 56 USD per year, while international students pay a minimum of 1,000 USD. ASEM campus
The campus of ASEM is located in Chisinau. This is a fairly large city that opens up many opportunities for students: from cafes, restaurants and other entertainment to internships at large companies. But an urban campus can also be a disadvantage, because big city life distracts some students from their studies. The university has a library, in the collection of which you will find not only textbooks and scientific works, but also works of the classics, modern literature and much more.
