Saint Thomas Aquinas University of the North (UNSTA) — private non-profit university. It is located in San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina. The higher education institution is among the youngest in the country. As a part of International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), UNSTA is actively building the academic environment in Argentina.
UNSTA is developing different scientific directions and invites students to join the research.

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at UNSTA is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees at UNSTA for local citizens starts from 1 USD per year. For international students, the cost of study differs — from 1,000 USD. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and scholarships.
When choosing an educational institution, it is important to be aware of additional costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.
The city campus of UNSTA provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. San Miguel de Tucuman has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students. The educational institution has its own library. Here, students do their homework or just have a good time reading an interesting book. UNSTA accepts students for international exchange programs. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in intercultural communication for both international and local students.

There are several options to stay in the country after graduation. One of them is to get an offer from an employer and apply for a work visa. Read more about this on the embassy website. Look for more immigration options in our article.
