The academic calendar at UWI is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Barbados. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at UWI will cost local citizens a minimum of 8,655 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 15,000 USD per year. UWI campus
The suburban campus of UWI combines features of an urban and rural campus. It is located outside the big city, which allows you to focus on your studies. However, it is also not too far, opening up access to more types of recreation, both outdoors and in the city (theaters, museums, restaurants). University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. Not only locals study at UWI, but also students from other countries. The variety of cultures represented broadens the horizons of students and fills student life with all sorts of activities, the purpose of which is cultural exchange.
