University of Primorska (UP) — public non-profit university. It is located in Koper, Slovenia. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 2003 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As a member of European University Association (EUA), UP is actively working on developing the academic environment.
It is one of the best institutions in the world. In QS World University Rankings 2025, it is among top-1200. The educational institution is in 1501 position of Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE).
