University of South Santa Catarina (UNISUL) — private non-profit university. It is located in Tubarao, Brazil. It is one of the youngest higher education institutions in the country. UNISUL is an active member of Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Brasileiras (CRUB), Associação Brasileira dos Reitores das Universidades Estaduais e Municipais (ABRUEM), OpenCourseWare Consortium (OCW).

The academic calendar at UNISUL is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Brazil. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at UNISUL will cost local citizens a minimum of 170 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 1,000 USD per year.
