Bu-Ali Sina University (BASU) — public non-profit university. It is located in Hamadan, Iran. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1973 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As a member of Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), BASU is actively working on developing the academic environment.
This is one of the best universities in the world. Judged by 13 aspects of Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE), it conquered 1201 place among top institutions.
BASU does research in different fields of study. You can find them on the official site.

The academic year at BASU is continuous. It means that students have no break between courses. However, for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. The cost of education and the availability of scholarships can be checked on the official website.
Also, be prepared for additional expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.
Only students who successfully pass the entrance exams are admitted to bachelor's programs.

BASU has an urban campus, which provides students with many options for study and recreation. The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. During the period of study, students can use the university library, where they can do homework and write scientific papers.
There are many options to stay in the country after completing your studies at the university. One of them is to get an offer from an employer and apply for a work visa. Detailed information can be found on the embassy website. We talk about other options for immigration in our article.
