About HU

Hashemite University (HU) — public non-profit university. It is located in Zarqa, Jordan. The higher education institution is considered one of the youngest in the country, as it was founded in 1995. As an active member of Association of Arab Universities (AARU), Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED), HU is participating in developing the academic environment.

The university is one of the top-1200 universities in the world. The educational institution is in 1201 position of Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE).
