University of Palestine (UP) — private non-profit university. It is located in Gaza, Palestine. It is a modern higher education institution, established in 2005. As a member of Association of Arab Universities (AARU), Union for the Mediterranean (EMUNI), Southwestern Accreditation Council, Association of Quality Assurance Agencies of the Islamic World (AQAAIW), International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), International Association of Universities (IAU), UP is actively working on developing the academic environment.
UP works in several scientific areas and is waiting for new students.

At UP, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. For Palestine citizens, the minimal tuition fee at UP is 1,410 USD per year. The university has several financial aid programs that help students cover part of the cost of education. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and available scholarships.
Accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses are all things to consider before applying to university.
The campus of UP is located in Gaza. This is a fairly large city that opens up many opportunities for students: from cafes, restaurants and other entertainment to internships at large companies. But an urban campus can also be a disadvantage, because big city life distracts some students from their studies. The university has a library where students can do their homework, write scientific papers or just read interesting books.

There are many options to stay in the country after completing your studies at the university. One of them is to get an offer from an employer and apply for a work visa. Detailed information can be found on the embassy website. You can find other options for immigration in our article.
