About UEW
University of Education, Winneba (UEW) — public non-profit university. It is located in Winneba, Ghana. It is a young higher education institution, as it was opened in 1992. As an active member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), UEW is participating in developing the academic environment.
UEW carries out research in several scientific areas.
As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at UEW is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. The campus of the educational institution is suburban. The advantages of such a location include the ability to quickly get to the city, access to various types of recreation (in nature and in the city) and a close-knit student community. There is a library on the grounds of the university. There are collected scientific works of graduates and teachers of the university, as well as fiction.
