About UTA

University of Tarapacá (UTA) — public non-profit university. It is located in Arica, Chile. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1981 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. As a part of Consejo de Rectores de Universidades Chilenas (CRUCH), Consejo de Rectores por la Integración de la Subregión Centro Oeste de Sudamérica (CRISCOS), UTA is actively building the academic environment in Chile.
