El Bosque University (UEB) — private non-profit university. It is located in Bogota, Colombia. The higher education institution is among the youngest in the country. As an active member of Asociación Colombiana de Universidades (ASCUN), Unión de Universidades de América Latina y El Caribe (UDUAL), The Magna Charta Observatory, UEB is participating in developing the academic environment.
The educational institution is in 1501 position of Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE).
UEB offers bachelor, master and doctorate programs in different fields of study.

At UEB, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at UEB will cost local citizens a minimum of 1 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 2,500 USD per year. Thanks to financial support programs, students have the opportunity to fully or partially cover the cost of education. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and available scholarships.
When choosing an educational institution, it is necessary to take into account additional costs: accommodation, transportation, educational materials, meals and personal expenses.

For admission to UEB, applicants must pass entrance exams. UEB also provides online undergraduate programs.
There is an opportunity to study at UEB via online master's programs.
The city campus of UEB provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. Bogota has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students. The university has a functioning library. In addition to educational materials in various scientific areas, it contains a collection of classical and contemporary literature. Not only locals study at UEB, but also students from other countries. This is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the culture of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.

There are several options to stay in the country after graduation. One of them is to get an offer from an employer and apply for a work visa. Read more about this on the embassy website. You can find other options for immigration in our article.
