About UPC
Popular University of Cesar (UPC) — public non-profit university. It is located in Valledupar, Colombia. The higher education institution is considered one of the youngest in the country, as it was founded in 1976. UPC is working together with RENATA - Red Nacional Académica de Tecnología Avanzada, SUE - SISTEMA DE UNIVERSIDADES ESTATALES, ASCUN - ASOCIACION COLOMBIANA DE UNIVERSIDADES.

UPC campus
The campus of UPC is located in Valledupar. The urban campus is suitable for those students who, firstly, are used to independence, and secondly, cannot imagine their life without the hustle and bustle of a big metropolis. There is a library on the grounds of the university. There are collected scientific works of graduates and teachers of the university, as well as fiction. Foreigners who come to UPC through exchange programs study and live with local students. Thus, the university promotes intercultural exchange and the establishment of interethnic relations.
