Umeå University (UmU) — public non-profit university. It is located in Umea, Sweden. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1965 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. UmU is a part of European University Association (EUA).

Bachelor degree at UmU
Before submitting documents to the university, applicants take an English language exam. The university accepts the results of IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score is 6.5. The TOEFL score is not lower than 90.
Master's degree at UmU
In order to enroll at UmU for a master's program, you will have to confirm knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing the exam — IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score for admission is 72. IELTS — 5.5 or higher.
UmU campus
The campus of UmU is suburban. Students live in a close-knit community and enjoy the benefits of the natural environment around them. However, they also have access to urban entertainment such as shopping malls, restaurants and cinemas. The university has a functioning library. In addition to educational materials in various scientific areas, it contains a collection of classical and contemporary literature. Thanks to international exchange programs at UmU, students can communicate with representatives of different countries and nationalities and thus expand their own horizons. And, the university contributes to this by regularly holding joint events for local and foreign students.

What to do after graduation
