As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at UCY is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. If you decide to pursue a career in science and enroll in a doctoral program, you must pass the language exam — IELTS, TOEFL or CAE. For enrollment, you need to pass TOEFL with 92 points. The minimum score for IELTS is 6.

The city campus of UCY provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. Nicosia has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students. University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. The exchange of intercultural experience occupies a special place in training at UCY.
