As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at HGB is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. At all public universities in Germany, tuition is free. Students pay only a semester fee, which is about 1,000 USD per year. For up-to-date information on scholarships and the cost of education for each program, check the official website of the educational institution.

Accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses are all things to consider before applying to university.

Bachelor degree at HGB

You cannot enter a German university after the 11th grade, because schooling there lasts longer than 11 years. First, you need to eliminate the academic difference. To do this, foreign students go through a preparatory year in special educational institutions — Studienkollegs. Enrollment in a bachelor's program at HGB is based on the results of entrance exams.

University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. The educational institution provides students with everything for playing sports: from athletic grounds to various clubs. Not only locals study at HGB, but also students from other countries. This is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the culture of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.
