University of Pitești (UPIT) — public non-profit university. It is located in Pitesti, Romania. It is a modern higher education institution, established in 1962. UPIT is working closely with European University Association (EUA), Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), Danube Rectors' Conference (DRC).
UPIT works in several scientific areas and is waiting for new students.

The academic calendar at UPIT is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Romania. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees at UPIT are different for locals and foreigners. Romania citizens pay 227 USD per year, while international students pay a minimum of 2,500 USD. With the help of financial support programs, students can partially or fully cover the cost of education. The exact cost of programs and information on the availability of scholarships can be found on the website of the university.
It is necessary to pay attention to other costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, food, and personal expenses.
UPIT has an urban campus, which provides students with many options for study and recreation. The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. The university has a library where students can do their homework, write scientific papers or just read interesting books. Not only locals study at UPIT, but also students from other countries. The variety of cultures represented broadens the horizons of students and fills student life with all sorts of activities, the purpose of which is cultural exchange.

There are several options to stay in the country after graduation. One of them is to get an offer from an employer and apply for a work visa. Read more about this on the embassy website. We talk about other options for immigration in our article.
