Application for Erasmus Mundus scholarship

This agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement" or the "Contract") is concluded between UniPage LLC, a legal entity (hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor" or "UniPage"), and the Service Customer (hereinafter referred to as " Customer"), hereinafter individually referred to as the "Party" and collectively as the "Parties". This Agreement is supplemented by the Terms of Use of the Site and the Privacy Policy, which are also an integral part of this Agreement.

The Parties hereby agree as follows:

Minimum requirements for participation in the Erasmus Mundus program

• Bachelor’s degree
• Outstanding academic performance and GPA in the chosen field
• Upper-intermediate / advanced English proficiency (B2 and above)
• Six months of work experience in a related field
• Extracurricular achievements: scientific publications, conference presentations, volunteering, competition victories, etc.

When determining the admission chances of the Customer, the Contractor takes into account a number of criteria: academic performance, foreign language proficiency, high scores in specialized exams, participation in olympiads, sports achievements, scientific publications, volunteering, leadership qualities, etc.

The scholarship application service includes

• Selection of a suitable master's program provided under the Erasmus scholarship
• Clarification of the entry requirements, including a list of the required documents and international exams
• Indication of the deadlines for the scholarship application
• Development of an individual strategy for document preparation
• Determination of the Customer’s uniqueness as an applicant, preparation of documents with an emphasis on these strengths
• Revision of the Customer’s CV (resume), motivation letter, recommendation letters
• Verification of the translation and legalization of the Customer’s diploma and transcript
• Application form completion for scholarships and master’s programs
• Lobbying the interests of an applicant to an educational institution
• Assistance and consulting support at each stage of the admission process
• Receiving an invitation and all necessary documents from the university

Any additional documents required for the scholarship application are paid according to the service price list or prepared by the Customer independently.

If you order the "Complete guidance" service for more than 1 program, then the service cost will be:

• 2 programs — 1,676 USD;
• 3 programs — 2,275 USD.

Deadlines for the provision of the scholarship application service

• Depending on the date of request to UniPage, the terms for the provision of the scholarship application service may vary from 4 weeks (at least 22 business days) to the deadline for submitting documents / receiving an invitation from the educational institution.
• In case the Customer contacts UniPage less than 4 weeks (less than 22 business days) before the application deadline, the submission is considered urgent, the cost of services increases by 50%.
• Services are considered rendered in full after the formation of a complete package of documents for the university, its submission online and / or sending a physical copy of the documents to the university (depending on the requirements of the university) and receiving an official response from the university on the results of enrollment.
• Services are considered rendered in full after the formation of a complete package of documents for the scholarship and the program, its submission online and / or physically to the admission committee (depending on requirements) and after receiving an official response from the university regarding the scholarship award and acceptance to the program.
• The Contractor is in charge of receiving an invitation from a university. In case of receiving a conditional offer (conditional enrollment), the Contractor informs the Customer of the conditions and deadlines for sending additionally requested documents to the university. The Contractor is in charge of receiving an unconditional offer and notifying the Customer.
• The Contractor is in charge of receiving an invitation from a university and an official response regarding the Erasmus Mundus scholarship award. In case of receiving a conditional offer (conditional enrollment) for the program and an official response regarding the scholarship, the Contractor informs the Customer of the conditions and deadlines for sending additionally requested documents. The Contractor is in charge of receiving an unconditional offer and notifying the Customer.
• After receiving conditional or unconditional offers from universities, the Contractor provides the Customer with access to the created e-mail for independent tracking of letters from the university in order to timely register the Customer for various university events.

What the Customer (applicant) does independently:

• Selection and registration of courses on the university portal
• Registration for Open days (orientation days)
• Registration for participation in other university events
• Registration for a medical examination
• Administrative record at the university
• Opening a bank account in the country of study

1. Terms and definitions

1.1. The Parties use the following basic terms with the purposes stated in this Agreement:

1.1.1. www.unipage.net — the official website of UniPage (hereinafter referred to as "the Website").

1.1.2. Personal Account — a personalized workspace of the Customer with access secured from any third parties. The Personal Account is accessed through mandatory registration on the Website, which implies the acquisition of the Personal Account (hereinafter referred to as "the Personal Account" or “PA”).

1.1.3. Services — information, consulting, and other services provided by UniPage, published on the Website in the "Services" section at www.unipage.net/en/services.

1.1.4. Customer — an individual who has submitted a duly completed Request on the UniPage Website for reception of Services.

If the Customer is under the age of majority (defined according to the legislation of the country of permanent residence), the Customer shall upload the written consent for conclusion of this Agreement from one of the parents, adoptive parents, or guardians of the applicant to conclude this Agreement.

1.1.5. Request — an order duly executed on the UniPage Website for the provision of Services.

1.1.6. Mentor — a UniPage specialist who accepts a Request and processes it. He is the Customer’s coordinator of all issues related to the Customer's Request.

2. Subject of the Agreement

2.1. The Contractor undertakes to provide the services to the Customer in accordance with the Customer's electronic Request.

2.2. The Customer, in turn, undertakes to fully pay for these services in accordance with clause 4.3 of this Agreement.

3. Conditions and procedure for the provision of services

3.1. In order to use the services of UniPage, the Customer must go through the registration procedure on the Website without fail. If you lose your password, you must contact the UniPage support service (education@unipage.net) or reset your password yourself by clicking on the "Forgot your password" link on the Authorization page.

3.2. After completing the registration procedure, the Customer is responsible for the safety of his registration data and confirms that all actions to use such data will be performed by the Customer personally or by his own consent.

3.3. The Customer confirms the accuracy of the personal data entered by him in the Personal Account and assumes full responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of such data.

3.4. Prior to paying for the service, the Customer, in the Request or e-mail sent to the appointed Mentor, indicates his requested package of services and describes the additional information necessary to perform the service.

3.5. The service Agreement shall be effective from the moment it is signed by the Parties, affixed with the UniPage seal, and the full cost of the UniPage service is paid for by the Customer and funds are transferred to the settlement account of the Contractor.

3.6. Services are considered rendered properly and in full after a complete package of documents for a scholarship application is prepared by the Contractor, submitted online, or sent as a physical copy to the appropriate authority (depending on the requirements of the scholarship program).

3.7. By signing this Agreement, the Customer agrees to the submission, processing, and storage of the Customer’s personal data received by the Contractor hereunder, to third parties, and in particular: to the embassy of the destination country, education institution, or any other institutions involved in the admission process. The Parties agree that the personal data information shall be used solely for the proper fulfillment by the Parties of the terms of this Agreement, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

3.8. The liability of UniPage under no circumstances may exceed the amount of money paid by the Customer for the service provision.

4. Cost of services and payment procedure

4.1. Upon agreement with the Contractor on the services to be delivered by the former as specified in the Request, the Customer shall be invoiced for payment to the e-mail address provided by the Customer in the Personal Account.

4.2. The Customer shall pay the full cost of the Contractor's services under the Agreement prior to the provision of the service.

4.3. The rates indicated on the Website are provided solely for guidance. Due to additions to the search criteria and changes in the content of the program, such as additions to the search criteria, the number of edited documents, booking as part of a group or individually, etc., the cost of the service may vary. The exact cost of the service is indicated in the table (on page 1 of the contract) in the "Service cost" field.

4.4. If in the course of work it becomes clear that it is necessary to prepare additional documents not included in the basic package of services, the Customer has the right to independently prepare the relevant documents or conclude an additional Agreement with the Contractor for the provision of additional services.

4.5. Payment is made by the transfer of funds to the Contractor's settlement account (in a bank or via online banking) or cash deposit in the Contractor's cash desk. The payment processing fee is paid by the Customer depending on the payment method chosen by the Customer.

4.6. Due to the variation in the terms of payment processing by various payment systems and banking structures, the start of work on the Request may be delayed until the funds are credited.

4.7. Payment obligations are considered to be properly fulfilled at the moment the payment amount is credited to the Contractor's settlement account.

4.8. After making the payment, the Customer must notify the Contractor of the transaction by attaching an electronic image of the payment receipt or a screenshot of the successful payment for the service.

5. Obligations and rights of the Parties

5.1. The customer is liable

5.1.1. For completing the registration process on the Website, which includes the unconditional acceptance of the terms of use of the Website.

5.1.2. For gaining familiarity with the package of services published on the UniPage Website at www.unipage.net/en/services and notifying the Mentor of the requested service.

5.1.3. For indicating all of the criteria by which it is necessary to select programs in the Request. If the Customer has significant requirements for the quality and/or composition of the program, he is obliged to notify the Mentor and also specify such requirements in the comment box of the Request. For services not delivered herein, the Customer may pay an additional fee at the rate clarified by the Contractor.

5.1.4. For effecting payments hereunder on a timely basis and in full under this Agreement (within 3 days since the date of signing the Agreement).

5.1.5. For completing the Personal Account with data on a timely basis, as well as providing the Contractor with the documents and information necessary for the provision of the service.

Stages, tasks, and their deadlines (strategy for applying for a grant / scholarship) are sent to the Customer by e-mail for review and approval. The deadlines may be adjusted by the Customer due to circumstances or according to personal preferences and agreed with the Contractor in writing no later than 2 (two) calendar days after receiving the appropriate strategy. If the Customer fails to provide adjustments within the established timeframe, the strategy is considered agreed upon by the Parties.

All document drafts requested by the Contractor must be provided by the Customer no later than the deadlines agreed upon in the strategy. The drafts must be carefully thought out and neatly executed, in form and content following the recommendations of the Contractor.

An extension of the deadlines specified in the admission strategy is allowed in exceptional cases at the discretion of the Contractor and cannot be more than 3 (three) calendar days. It is formalized by an additional written agreement and the mandatory submission of a written request to the Contractor's address for such an extension no later than 2 (two) working days before the agreed date.

5.1.6. In case of violation of the deadlines established in the strategy or additional agreements, at the request of the Contractor, the Customer must pay a penalty in the amount of 0.5% of the total cost of services for each day of delay, but not more than 100% of the total cost of services.

5.1.7. For providing the Contractor with complete and reliable information about the presence of chronic diseases and other personal information that may be an obstacle to participation in the Program in full or serve as a basis for denial of a visa or a ban on leaving the country.

5.1.8. For sending the certified acceptance of the services to the Contractor no later than 7 business days from the date of receipt from the Contractor, signed by the Contractor, or sending a reasoned refusal to sign the act.

In the event that the Customer fails to send the Contractor a signed acceptance certificate for the services rendered within the time limits specified in this clause, or does not provide a reasoned refusal to sign it, it is considered that the certificate is signed by both Parties, and the services are rendered in full.

5.1.9. In the event of a change in the e-mail address or contact phone number during the service provision period, for informing the Contractor by changing the information in the Personal Account and sending a corresponding notification by e-mail.

5.1.10. In the event that the Contractor is entrusted with an intermediary function in terms of transferring tuition fees, for paying all additional costs of the Contractor related to this operation (currency purchases, exchange rate differences, bank commissions, etc.).

The Contractor has the right to refuse the intermediary function without providing reasons.

5.1.11. For independently bearing all additional costs associated with enrollment (if necessary: sending documents by courier mail, apostille, translation and notarization services, payment of registration fees, etc.).

The Customer has the right to deal with these issues independently or to resort to the intermediary assistance of the Contractor if the Contractor has such an opportunity.

The Customer is familiar with the order of prices for the above items of expenses and is aware that the costs mentioned in clause 5.1.11. procedures can be quite high, in some cases exceeding the amount already paid to the Contractor.

5.1.12. For guaranteeing the legality and correctness of registration in accordance with the requirements of the embassy or educational institutions of the documents provided in UniPage, issued by the competent authorities of the country of the Customer’s residence. The Customer is fully responsible for the accuracy of these documents. The Contractor does not examine such documents.

5.2. The Contractor is liable

5.2.1. For performing the full range of work specified in the description of the service in a qualitative and conscientious manner, in compliance with the Agreement.

5.2.2. For delivering a written report to the Customer in electronic format to evidence on the factual delivery of services as per the Request.

5.2.3. If the Customer has paid for the service before receiving the Contractor’s confirmation to accept the Request, and if the Customer's request cannot be fulfilled for a number of reasons (the absence of suitable programs for the declared budget, missed deadlines for filing applications, etc.), the Contractor is obliged to compensate the Customer for the full cost of services minus transaction costs (according to clause 6.5.).

5.2.4. In case of detection of errors on the part of the Contractor, which served as the reason for receiving an official refusal from the scholarship fund, for offering the Customer a choice of:

• Resubmission of documents for the originally agreed scholarship program for the next year
• Compensation in the amount of 50% of the amount of the scholarship application service

5.2.5. For not disclosing the confidential information and activity of the Customer throughout the service provision period.

5.3. The Customer is entitled

5.3.1. To receive the necessary and reliable information on issues related to the relevant grants and scholarship programs offering funding services on a competitive basis.

5.3.2. To refer to the management of the Contractor in order to replace the Mentor of the Customer with another specialist of the company by sending an official request to the e-mail of the Contractor (education@unipage.net) with an indication of the objective reason for the replacement.

The Contractor is obliged to consider the request within 5 business days and relay the decision to replace the specialist to the Customer.

5.3.3. In case the decision to terminate the Agreement is made, to send a detailed request to the e-mail address of the Contractor with an indication of the reasons for the termination of the Agreement and a request for monetary compensation, minus the part of the service package that was provided in full.

The Contractor is obliged to consider the request within 5 working days and to send a decision to the Customer regarding compensation.

During the calculation, the cost of each individual service is taken into account (for example, the number of selected programs, filling out an application, etc.) according to the price list www.unipage.net/en/service_expenses, but not more than the full cost of the Agreement amount.

5.3.4. To receive commensurate compensations and refunds, taking into account the limitations established by this Agreement.

5.4. The Contractor is entitled

5.4.1. To independently determine the procedure for the performance of services under this Agreement. This means that the Mentor builds a strategy and sets deadlines for the Customer to provide document drafts, including deadlines for the completion of said documents.

5.4.2. The Contractor reserves the right to delay the start of work on the provision of services until the receipt of the necessary documents from the Customer, without which the service cannot be provided in full.

5.4.3. In case of violation of the deadlines established in the admission strategy or an additional agreement, to demand payment of a penalty in the amount of 0.5% of the total cost of services for each day of delay, but not more than 100% of the total cost of services. At the same time, the Contractor, in the event of termination of this Agreement at the initiative of the Customer, has the right to withhold the accrued penalty from the amount of money paid by the Customer.

5.4.4. To take any action to perform the service in a timely manner in accordance with professional vision and experience.

6. Terms of service annulment

6.1. The Contractor shall be entitled to unilaterally annul the Request in case of failure to submit, or failure by the Customer to meet the submission deadlines of documents or data required to deliver services hereunder by the Contractor.

Terms to submit documents or information required shall be specified by the Contractor in accordance with clause 5.1.5.

6.2. The Customer shall be entitled to annul the Request in case of failure of the Contractor to meet the terms of service delivery specified hereunder, if the Contractor fails to notify the Customer in writing on reasons that caused prolongation of terms, including the terms specified for service delivery.

6.3. Upon cancellation of services, the Contractor retains all expenses incurred by him during the execution of the Agreement related to the implementation of the preparatory stage and the stage of preparing documents for admission, the costs of processing and reviewing the request, and preparing documents.

6.4. In case the service is delivered in part, the Contractor shall be entitled to deduct the amount of the service delivered in full.

6.5. In case of payment and refund, all additional transaction costs are withheld from the Customer.

6.6. Return of funds is made within a period of 20 days after acceptance by the Contractor of the decision on compensation and corresponding written notification of the Customer.

6.7. In the event that the Customer, at any stage of applying for the scholarship, on his own initiative refuses any component of the selected service package specified in the contract, compensation to the Customer is not made.

7. Guarantee of a scholarship award and admission to an educational institution

7.1. The decision to enroll the Customer in the program and award him with a scholarship is made by the admissions committee of the educational institution or scholarship fund and, therefore, cannot be guaranteed by the Contractor.

7.2. The Customer is aware of the risks associated with the selection procedure for applicants, and admits the possibility of refusal to enroll due to increased competition among applicants.

7.3. The Contractor does everything possible, within the scope of the contract and his professional competence, to increase the Customer's chances of enrollment in selected and agreed-upon educational institutions.

7.4. If the Customer insists on submitting documents to the scholarship fund and educational institution of his choice, while having non-compliance with the minimum requirements, insufficient academic performance, or other factors (as notified by the Contractor in advance) that prevent successful enrollment, the Contractor is not responsible for the result of this admission procedure.

7.5. Educational institutions reserve the right not to send official feedback to the applicant regarding the decision not to provide a scholarship or enroll the Customer in an educational program.

8. Force Majeure

8.1. Parties are not responsible for partial or complete failure to fulfill obligations under this Agreement if such failure was caused by force majeure arising after the conclusion of the Agreement as a result of extraordinary circumstances, such as floods, fires, earthquakes, and other natural phenomena, as well as war, military operations, blockades, the ban of actions and acts by public authorities, strikes, disruption of communications and energy supply, explosions that occurred during the term of this Agreement, which the Parties could not foresee or prevent.

8.2. In the circumstances specified in clause 8.1. of this Agreement, the Party shall promptly notify the other Party about such circumstances in writing. The notice must include information on the nature of the circumstance, as well as official documents that certify the existence of such circumstances and, if possible, give an assessment of their impact on the Party's ability to fulfill its obligations under the Agreement.

8.3. Subject to occurrence of circumstances specified in clause 8.1 of this Agreement, the term of execution of obligations by the Party under this Agreement is extended in proportion to the time during which these circumstances and their consequences exist, or period after which the resumption of actions for the implementation of services is possible, for example, when the educational course is held once a year.

9. Contract validity. Contract modification and termination

9.1. The Agreement shall be effective immediately after it is signed by both Parties and since the date of payment effected by the Customer, and is valid until the works performed are accepted.

9.2. The Agreement is valid for 1 calendar year from the date of its signing, and if the Parties do not sign the act after the expiration of the calendar year, it is automatically extended for the next calendar year.

9.3. The Agreement may be amended or terminated by the written agreement of the Parties, as well as in other cases as stipulated by the applicable legislation of the country where the company is incorporated and by the terms of this Agreement.

10. Dispute settlement procedure

10.1. Any discrepancies and disputes arising between the Parties shall be settled through negotiations by signing additional agreements and statements of disagreements, as well as by reporting on claims to consider within 10 business days since the date of claim received by the relevant Party.

10.2. In case an agreement is not reached by the matter under dispute as specified in clause 10.1., the dispute shall be delivered for consideration of the court of the country where UniPage is incorporated.

11. Miscellaneous conditions

11.1. All other issues not regulated by this Contract shall be settled in compliance with the applicable legislation of the country where UniPage is incorporated.

11.2. All annexes and additional agreements concluded between the Customer and Contractor shall be the integral part of the Agreement.

11.3. The Parties recognize the legal force behind electronic letters (documents sent by e-mail) and recognize them as equivalent to documents on paper, signed with a handwritten signature, because only the Parties themselves and persons authorized by them have access to the corresponding e-mail addresses entered when filling out personal information on the Website, and which are the electronic signature of the respective Party.

11.4. Access to the e-mail address is available with a password and the Customer shall be obliged to keep the password confidential. In case the password is forgotten, the Customer shall immediately inform the Contractor.

11.5. The Customer has the right to impose obligations for service payment on a third party (including a legal entity).

11.6. Information and consulting services provided by the Contractor are not educational activities, are not subject to licensing, are not accompanied by final certification, assignment of any qualification, and issuance of a certificate of education.

Additional agreement

Due to the current global situation, educational institutions, consulates, visa centers, and other authorities reserve the right to unilaterally make decisions without prior notice. These decisions can have significant implications for the Customer, including the complete or temporary transition to online learning, the implementation of additional requirements, the cancellation of education with or without compensation, the closure of consulate interview slots, border closures, and other circumstances that may hinder the Customer's travel or entry into the country of study.

The Contractor has no control over the decisions made by authorized authorities and cannot be held liable to the Customer for such decisions. The Contractor assumes responsibility solely for the quality of the services provided. The Contractor diligently and efficiently fulfills the obligations outlined in the contract. Non-compliance with obligations by third parties, namely the aforementioned authorities, does not entitle the Customer to a refund from the Contractor. In case of program or trip cancellation/rescheduling, the Customer bears all associated risks, including financial ones.

By entering into this Agreement, the Contractor guarantees that, at the time of signing, the situation allows for the supervision under the agreed terms. Any subsequent changes beyond the control of the Contractor cannot serve as grounds for Contract termination or compensation for the entire service amount.

The customer has the right to terminate the contract using the standard terms of the contract in terms of the due compensation and the mandatory withholding of the amount for the amount of work done in accordance with sections of the contract, clause 5.3. and item 6. at the following rates www.unipage.net/ru/service_expenses.
